I wanted to send you a little studio gift—the Winter Landscapes Lookbook is ready.

But first, let me tell you about the heart of this collection: the Mineral Wash inks.

The Mineral Wash Inks were developed through years of ceramics-inspired and handcrafted clay paint experimentation and a love of earthy, mineral matte surfaces.

They're pigment-based washes made with an earth-mineral base and handmade organic binder that dry velvety and matte, creating a gorgeous foundation for layering. The atmospheric color that plays beautifully with paper, marks, and wax.

And the best part: they pair beautifully with #tracibautistaCOLOR wax products. You can start with an ink wash background, then come back in with Confetti Cakes, PIGMENT BARS, or Wax MONOPRINT Bars for dry mark-making and resist, or warm them later for melt + brush-paint and monoprint plate play.

One of my favorite things about this collection is that you can begin with layers of ink and build from there or mix with my new wax products and mediums to build texture on the paper or canvas.

• The Mineral Wash Inks create soft, velvety matte atmosphere.
• The Confetti Cakes and Wax Monoprint Bars (Printmaking Bars) can be used dry as mark-making tools (rub, draw, scribble, texture) and as wax resist over ink washes.
• And if/when you want to work with heated plate, they become melt + mix tools for brush-painting, palette blending, and monoprint play.

If you want a simple starting point: ink first for beautiful matte surfaces, wax second for marks + resist. Create beautiful WINTER Landscapes layers with the new collection of INK + WAX.
