🎨 Quick Swatch Prompts for Any Paints or Inks

Even if you don’t have my handcrafted pigment bars, these prompts will spark inspiration with what’s on your art table:

  1. Monochrome Magic: Choose one color and create a gradient from bold to whisper-light.
  2. Unexpected Duo: Pick two colors you rarely mix. Swatch them side by side, then blend.
  3. Texture Test: Apply paint using an unusual tool (palette knife, sponge, or even a twig).
  4. Tiny Marks Study: Create a mini pattern of dots, dashes, or strokes using one pigment.
  5. Name Your Color Story: Give your favorite swatch of the day a poetic name.
